The “Luxury” Life of a College Student Abroad

Hey Everyone! It’s time for this week’s blog post. Enjoy a little window into my crazy life!

Schönbrun from the Inside

On Tuesday, my class went to do a site visit of Schönbrun Palace. This is the Summer residence of the Hapsburgs, from when they ruled over Austria. The place was massive. Gilded walls, Red carpets, and paintings everywhere, Schönbrun was and still is, a place of luxury. Sadly, I couldn’t take any pictures while on the tour (Though I saw plenty of people breaking rules.)

The celling in entrance way of the Palace.
Waffle Night!

I ordered a waffle maker on line. When you get a waffle maker you have to make waffles, so that’s what I did. The waffles were incredible and loved by all. Thank you Dad for teaching me the Waterston Family “Secret” Waffle Recipe, your legacy will live on.

The ball of a lifetime

Two weeks ago, I bought a ticket to the Johann Strauss Ball in Statpark. On Thursday I rented a tux(which I need to return after I publish this post.) Now for the big day: Saturday, February 16th. I can’t explain with words how incredible this was, so I’ll give you a bunch of pictures!

The Ballers (from left to right): Samantha, Monica, Olivia, Zoë, Lilli, Aspyn, Me, Paul, and Andrew
The Guys (James Bond Style)
The Boys (But silly)
Just me 🙂

Be prepared.

Umm, I’m not sure what that was. It’s probably not important. Anyways, that’s the end of my blogpost for this week. Hope you liked it.

Stay Coolish!
